Digital Illustration

Welcome to my niche.

I started drawing at the age of 3 and have always loved fine art. As I grew older, I fell in love with the digital programs that allowed me to design whatever I wanted. When I came into college, I found illustration – a medium that perfectly combines the fine art world with the digital world. In this medium, I found a calling and a future for myself.

General Projects

These projects were all created within 2020. Most of these were created for my Digital Illustration class in Spring 2020; however, the character sketch with the umbrella was created for my Introduction to Interactive design class in Fall of 2020, and the mermaid-tiger fusion (“MerTiger”) was a personal project.

Adventures of Spuddy

I consider myself to generally be attracted to photorealism in my illustrations. In this project for my Layout and Design class in Fall 2019, however, I steered from my typical aesthetic and opted for a fun cartoonish look instead. For this project, I created 12 images to be designed in a calendar, and the adventures of this tiny potato-like character nicknamed “Spuddy” came to life.
